Who are we?

Schnick-Schnack-Systems is a rapidly-growing, Cologne-based company with an energetic and enthusiastic team, who combine technical expertise with many years of experience in lighting for entertainment. Our products have been developed as a result of direct contact with internationally renowned lighting designers and thoroughly tested in live situations before release, to ensure maximum fitness for purpose.

At Schnick-Schnack-Systems we think ahead, to envision the entertainment lighting trends of tomorrows world and are engaged in constant research and development; from basic areas, such as colour reproduction, to the development of complex, intelligent network systems. 

We use only the best quality components from the worlds top manufacturers, such as Nichia and work to the highest manufacturing standards, to produce LED systems which have been optimised for professional use. The volumes in which we now produce these, enables us to offer excellent value for money.

Since its foundation in 2004, Schnick-Schnack-Systems has become the market leader in LED backlighting technology for use in German TV productions – a market sector with the most demanding technical requirements. Our products are also making an increasing number of appearances on TV shows in other countries; most notably the UK and Middle East and are becoming firmly established items in the product portfolios of innovative trade fair and exhibition contractors, along with those of major lighting rental companies.
